I Love

I just would like to say thank you all of my students/friends.
All of my students/friends are my teachers.
I always learn a lot from you guys both on the mat and off the mat.
Thanks a lot,love you guys!!!!!!!!!!!

BRIGHTON Studio DAIKANYAMA /YOGA FOR EVERY BODY ディレクター、 lululemon 六本木アンバサダー。

2001年に渡加、それをきっかけに日本とカナダを行き来する中でヨガに出会う。バンクーバー”Semperviva Yoga Studioにて500H Teacher training を修了、同スタジオにてトレーニングトレーナーとして活動。2012年より拠点を日本に移し、インストラクター養成にも多く携わる。

自身の師であるGloria Lathamの通訳＆Co-teacherとしてカナダ、ギリシャ、バリなど国内外のトレーニング、ワークショップに参加、『Kundalini awakening yoga』を日本で指導している第一人者。 DJ Satoshi Miya共に“ヨガと音楽”のコラボクラスを軸にヨガイベント、音楽フェスなどにも多数参加。

プロジェクト"YOGA FOR EVERY BODY”を通じて『誰もが楽しめるYOGAを、自分らしく生きていく事の素晴らしさ』をシェアしている。

She has been practicing yoga for more than fifteen years and teaching for past 14 years. Her yoga journey began when she met her mentors, Gloria Latham and Cameron Gilley. Maiko completed her 500 Hour Teacher Training with Semperviva, studying Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa and Kundalini Yoga. She currently teach classes in Tokyo such as BRIGHTON Studio DAIKANYAMA. You also can find Maiko in Tokyo for most of the year leading amazing community events such as Yoga Dance Parties.

Maiko has immersed herself in the study of Kundalini Awakening Yoga with her mentor Gloria Latham for over 10 years. Maiko has pioneered Gloria’s unique approach to Kundalini Yoga in Japan. She has also worked closely with Gloria, co-teaching to support Japanese students in worldwide events, workshops and retreats in Bali, Tulum, the Greek Islands, Japan and Vancouver and Galiano Island, Canada. She is a passionate and committed teacher, dedicated to her students and the path of yoga.

Maiko is inspired by how yoga brings happiness into her student’s lives and gives them a sense of freedom to create a life they love.
